Kudos to the city of corner brook at finally having a summer festival we can enjoy and be proud to call our own.The east meets west meets north festival was in my opinion a huge success , having taken in as much as i could it seemed a good time was had by all.People didnt seem to mind having west street shut down for a few days , i think having the festival on a street in the middle of downtown adds to the enjoyment as oppossed to just holding in a field somewhere. It also showed corner brook is not some sleepy retirement town young people were out enjoying the festival.also .The local acts were great i think with some minor tweeking here and there corner brook can keep this a yearly event people will look forward to and plan there summer around, just remember sometimes smaller is better i hope the powers to be dont try to bring in big name musical acts and make this a price gaugung event and learn from the hangashore keep this for families and keep booze to the clubs not at the concert venues.Hats off corner brook you showed off your positive side and what community spirit is look forward to next year.
