
Sunday evening set the stage for the Pepsi Centre to be invaded by Cirkzilla! Wonderbolt Circus came to town, bringing a slew of acrobats, clowns, aliens and more to entertain a big crowd of young and young-at-heart alike!
The show got started before the real show got started with clowns and entertainers wandering about the audience, blowing bubbles and making balloon animals.
About ten minutes before the show, two acrobats emerged from red bags hanging from the rafters and scaled down a pair of silks into the crowd:
Soon afterward the full show got started with a group of breakdancing aliens taking the stage, followed by hula-hoopers:
and giant hula-hoopers:
and more feats of incredible strength from the acrobats:
Wonderbolt Circus is based out of St. John’s so it’s really cool to see this calibre of performance and know that it’s local talent. If anyone is interested in running away to the circus, you’d only have to head out East!
