Local artist Jonathan Green opened the chilly, Arctic focused exhibition Son of Chaos on Saturday night at the Arts and Culture Centre. Curated by Ingrid Mary Percy, the exhibition features prints and drawings that look at the ideas of survival, solitude, ambition and loss.
Manoeuvring around the white-box icebergs and nautical themed items populating the centre of the exhibition space at the Arts and Culture Centre you can find Jonathan’s works lining the walls. All of the pieces feature the Arctic, ships and often shipwrecks.
Jon’s work is really impressive and definitely worth checking out. The exhibition will be open until February 8 and is free and open to the public.
