Dance Week Podcast – Episode 3

April 25, 2012

Contributed by Candice Pike.

In yesterday’s podcast, I mentioned that one of my favourite parts of being involved in the International Dance Day flash mob was seeing families participate in the rehearsals together. So, building on that, today’s podcast is a conversation with a mother/daughter duo in Corner Brook who both take dance classes! Jill Brown and Kate Sanders have been taking ballet and jazz classes for several years. They share some neat insights about the social and physical benefits of dance and let us know why they think dancing is important for adults and children.
