Navigate Entrepreneurial Program

So you want to start a business? Creating a new business is not an easy task. If you’re a first-time entrepreneur, you’re probably not sure where to get started and you definitely have a lot of questions. Even if you have started a business there are still challenges that can be overwhelming when trying to get a new venture off the ground. The Navigate Entrepreneurial Program can help you!
What is Navigate?
Navigate is a program designed to promote, assist, and support the creation of new entrepreneurs in the Greater Corner Brook and Western Newfoundland region. Over the past eight years the Navigate Program has played an integral role in the creation of 37 businesses and more than 87 full and part-time jobs.
We have just recently opened our new entrepreneurial centre in the new extension of Grenfell Campus, Memorial University. This mini incubation centre has computers/work stations, a new smart board, a library of recently published textbooks on entrepreneurship/business development, and space for entrepreneurs to conduct their business planning sessions.
Who can use Navigate?
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Grenfell Campus, Memorial University and College of the North Atlantic – Corner Brook Campus can take advantage of the services offered by the Navigate Program.
What can Navigate do for you?
- Provide tools to assess your entrepreneurial potential.
- Help with idea generation.
- Assistance in business planning – how to write a business plan
- Provide direction on where to find information pertaining to funding sources, financial planning, marketing, etc.
- Provide one on one business counselling
- Provide networking and mentoring opportunities with potential entrepreneurs and established business owners.
