This Wednesday, October 9th , there will be an Open Mic fundraiser for Mr. Paul Heppleston and family. Paul, or “Mr. H” as he’s affectionately known by many in the community, has been organizing music events for youth in this community for years.
One of the more popular events to carry the moniker “Mr. H Presents…” is his “Mr. H Presents An Open Stage for the Underage”, which has always been a successful way for youth in the community to perform in front of like-minded peers.
When Paul and his family recently found out that his daughter Stella was sick and was going to need to spend a lot of time in the Janeway, many of the students who have enjoyed Mr. H’s Open Mic nights jumped into action to see what they could do to help out. They decided to put off their own “Open Stage”, the brilliantly titled “The Underage Presents An Open Stage for Mr. H” with all proceeds going to help the Heppleston family during this difficult time.
This is a great opportunity to come and check out some of the new young talent in our community while giving help to a great cause.
